📖 About Turbo Grand Prix
Game Guide

Turbo Grand Prix is a free browser kart racer built around the pseudo-3D “Mode 7” rendering trick that powered SNES-era racing games — flat track art that tilts and scales to fake a rolling 3D perspective, giving it a distinctly retro arcade look and feel while running entirely in the browser. Eight tracks are split across two cups (Rookie and Champion) at three difficulty levels each, so there's a long climb from your first easy race to the hardest Champion-cup circuits.

The core skill to learn is drifting: holding the drift input through a turn charges a mini-turbo that launches you forward when released, and stringing drifts together through a lap is the difference between a mediocre finish and a podium. Coins earned from winning races go into the Garage, where you can upgrade your kart's speed, acceleration, handling, and boost — and unlock new kart colors — so races stay competitive as the cups get harder. It supports keyboard, on-screen buttons, and touch controls, so it plays just as well on a phone as it does at a desk.
