Critical Pressure

Critical Pressure is a free browser puzzle game about staying calm under a literal ticking gauge. Each of its 15 chambers hands you a scrambled grid of pipe tiles that need to be rotated into place to connect an intake to every outlet — but the pressure gauge in the corner is always climbing, and if it maxes out before you finish routing the pipes, the rig blows and the chamber resets.

What keeps it from being a pure race against the clock is the valve system: three vent valves let you buy yourself breathing room by dumping pressure fast, each with its own cooldown and a side effect that can complicate the puzzle if used carelessly, and a Spacebar brace lets you freeze the climb entirely for a few seconds when things get truly critical. Chambers get progressively larger and more tangled as you go, so success comes down to reading the pipe layout quickly and managing your valves like a limited resource. Clearing all 15 chambers unlocks an endless Overclock Mode for players who want the difficulty to keep ramping indefinitely.
